Alice Skye

Melbourne, AUSTRALIA
Australian based Wergaia / Wemba Wemba woman, Alice Skye released her lates...t single “I Feel Better But I Don’t Feel Good” in Oct 2019 via Bad Apples Music (Island Records /Universal Music). Produced by Jen Cloher, the returning track marks her first since signing with the prolific indigenous label. Packed with fire moulded in tender vocals, the single follows a big year for the indigenous indie singer/songwriter with performances on many of Australia’s music festival and conference stages. Alice recently took home the Emerging Artist Award at the 2019 Australian Women in Music Awards and has been steadily gaining a reputation as one of Australia’s brightest new faces since releasing debut single “You Are The Mountains” in 2015. In March 2018 she was awarded the inaugural First Peoples Emerging Artist Award, followed with the release of her acclaimed debut album Friends With Feelings, which gained immediate playlisting on many of the countries radio stations and has since accumulated over one million streams on Spotify. Bill and the Belles

Johnson City, TN
With their enchanting debut album, Dreamsongs, Etc., Bill and the Belles ha...ve captured the freewheeling, lighthearted approach to music that has endeared them to listeners of every generation. With a spirited sound that falls somewhere between old-time country and vaudeville, the group puts its own spin on a golden era of music, specifically the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s. “We like old music and some of us are consumed by it,” says lead singer and guitarist Kris Truelsen with a knowing laugh. “But we don't have a desire to copy it. We want to sound like ourselves and tell our story.” The band takes its name from Bill and Belle Reed, performers from the 1920s who recorded the songs “Old Lady and the Devil” and “You Shall Be Free” in Johnson City, Tennessee. In 2015 Bill and the Belles stepped into the role of house band upon the launch of a live radio show, Farm and Fun Time, presented by Radio Bristol. Truelsen launched that community radio station, housed within the Birthplace of Country Music Museum in Bristol, Tennessee. Bodywash

Montreal, CANADA
Bodywash formed in 2014 when Chris Steward and Rosie Long Decter began jamm...ing in a basement rehearsal room at McGill University in Montreal. Bonding over a shared affection for shoegaze and dream pop, the two found an immediate chemistry and recorded an EP the following year. When it came time to make a full-length album, they enlisted Nigel Ward to engineer. The recording process spanned two years and five recording studios, with the duo constantly rewriting, reworking, and rearranging songs. The final product was mixed by Taylor Smith and Austin Tufts of Braids, and mastered by Evan Tighe. The result is the perfect insomniac’s record, a late-night album of emotional extremes, from the enveloping warmth of shoegaze to the stark electronics of 90s trip-hop and IDM. Bodywash signed with Luminelle Recordings in January 2019 and released Comforter on August 30th, to acclaim from Clash Magazine, Bandcamp Editorial, AllMusic and more. They celebrated the release with an east coast tour and a sold out show at POP Montreal, before heading back into the studio to dream up new soundscapes for 2020. Read More
